Gigging Again!

Gigging Again!

Hi folks, it’s been a long time since I posted up here and a long time since I did a gig. Since the pandemic began 2 years ago I have just performed at one gig last year with the Spiratones, that was to be my last. Good luck to the band with their new line up, I had a great time with you guys. Now I’m getting back to my passion for all things Chet Atkins and fingerstyle guitar. I’ll be performing at Zeffirelli’s in Ambleside with my band on the 12th March and solo on the 12th June in Ulverston as part of Retro Rendezvous. I’m really looking forward to getting back out there again (if a little nervous!). During the last two years I’ve not been idle and have been practising a lot, and recently I’ve joined Brooks Robertson’s marvellous channel on TrueFire. This is giving me loads of inspiration and firing me up with some new tunes. Brooks is an amazing teacher, I highly recommend him!

So, I really hope I will see some of you at my gigs this year, I’ll keep the site posted with any new ones as well as Facebook. I am also hoping to do some more Youtube videos soon as well.

Cheers everybody!

Matt
